Caring for Leather the Natural Way with Beeswax
At Blossom & Hive, we believe good leather deserves gentle, natural care. Our Beeswax Leather Conditioner is handcrafted from pure Australian beeswax and plant oils — no silicones, chemicals, or synthetic gloss. The result is deep nourishment and long-lasting protection that keeps your leather soft, supple, and beautifully aged over time.

Preparing the Leather Surface
Before conditioning, it’s important to prepare the leather so the wax can absorb evenly and deliver the best results.
- Clean the Leather: Wipe away dust and dirt with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn marks, use a slightly damp cloth with mild, unscented soap or a small amount of saddle soap. Avoid harsh cleaners or excess water.
- Patch Test: Always test on a hidden area first, especially if the leather is new, light-coloured, or unfinished.
- Dry Naturally: Allow the leather to air dry completely — never use direct heat, as this can dry and crack the surface.

Applying Beeswax Leather Conditioner
Once the leather is clean and dry, it’s ready for nourishment. A small amount of conditioner goes a long way.
- Use a Soft Cloth: Apply a small amount of Beeswax Leather Conditioner to a clean, lint-free cloth.
- Work in Circular Motions: Gently massage the wax into the leather, focusing on seams and high-wear areas.
- Let It Absorb: Allow the conditioner to soak in for several minutes so the natural oils and beeswax can penetrate deeply.

Buffing and Polishing for a Natural Finish
- Buff: After absorption, use a clean, dry cloth to buff in light circular motions, removing any excess wax.
- Polish: For a soft, natural sheen, finish with a second cloth or a shoe brush, moving in smooth strokes.
With regular care, your leather will stay flexible, resilient, and naturally beautiful for years. Re-condition every few months or whenever the surface begins to look dry. Store leather away from direct sunlight and heat sources to prevent fading or cracking.

Hello! My name is Steve Horvath, I bought a $500.00 Dollar full length Italian Leather coat in Chicago in 1990’s. Unfortunately, I took my leather coat for cleaning to a cleaner who destroyed my coat’s beautiful shine! I’d like to know if your product could help me restore to the beautiful shine and supple texture of my leather coat to its near state of origin? I really appreciate your feedback and reply and your specific instructions to achieve my task! Please let me know how to receive your product via USPS Mail Order.
Sincerely yours, Steve Horvath, 1111 South Ashland Avenue, Apt. #810, Chicago, IL 60607
